I need more FPS in Honky Star Rail.

More seriously, I do a lot of emulation on my phone. I've kind of tapped out myself too though where the increases aren't enough to enable me to play anything new. But I can see that being a reason.

Chinese history with an emphasis on its representation in English available media. Uncritical support for the Yellow Scarves. Every Dynasty Warriors and Three Kingdoms game does them dirty. Meanwhile Cao Cao is getting redemption arcs.

I actually have somewhat limited access to a 3D printer and I definitely appreciate the effort that people put into designing and then making those designs freely available. There's just so many DIY projects now that basically require one.

It's not a NAS, but this guy made a sff PC cooled with 3D printed ducts.

Anyway, I just settled for one of these for home use, so those kinds of projects are sort of outside my wheelhouse anyway. Would be interested to see your build once it's finished though.

I thought your post was satire at first because I actually experience more frustration watching videos about NAS builds where they casually drop in the "I just 3D printed this bracket" and "I bought this used motherboard on EBay/AliExpress" when they bought probably the only one being sold in the last 6 months. Like, neat. But neither of those things help me lol.

I mean, no matter what, I'm going to prefer raking leaves over dealing with other people's trash. But I wouldn't complain about having to deal with other people's trash if I was doing it as a service to my neighbors who will return that service in kind because we all want to help each other out/want our society to function and not because I need to or I'll starve.

The idea of being forced to do any of the undesirable jobs would be a lot more tolerable if you only had to do it 1 week a month and could rotate the responsibilities with others. This becomes more complicated the more specialized the work gets, of course.

The codecs thing is wack. I can explain to people that maybe their distro doesn't come with a video player because the idea is that they get to choose their preference, but I've lost once I have to also explain that none of their video files will even work since they didn't also install codecs.

Because its self hosted on someone's home computer, for example. So you can run it on a home server and use it locally, or you can purchase a domain and open it up to others so they can go to your website and use the search engine like you're talking about.

I think expectations were just really high because it was in development for 7 years. It's pretty clear it was made with some of the Fallout 4 bones though and that technology just advanced passed them in the time it took them to make it. The jump from Morrowind to Oblivion to Skyrim was pretty large in a lot of ways but its almost a Duke Nukem Forever situation except they wisely chose not to scrap the game 12 times to implement every new gimmick.

Hostile comment, but ok. Continue enjoying your Windows adware I guess.

Gamepass games generally don't work on Linux either.
