Worth noting that all modern failures have been GE models or ancient Westinghouse models. Modern nuclear reactors built by Westinghouse are virtually immune from meltdown, and Westinghouse is the lead player in new builds. Nuclear safety has come miles since the like of Fukushima, and especially 3 Mile Island. I'd feel perfectly safe living near a new Westinghouse nuclear plant.

Spiderwebs or insects can mess with the sensors, likewise with dust. Try spraying some canned air inside. Or if it's a few years old, you may want to replace it.

I had no idea there was a word for this, I'm the same way.

I feel like I remember seeing avatars like this somewhere other than The Palace. Would've been late 90s / early 2000s.

Wow is that actually what the inside of an airplane looks like? I've never seen a photo from this angle and it looks so impossibly claustrophobic.

Running from something that is trying to kill me and being chased. Occasionally it catches me and I start screaming in my sleep. That was a fun one to explain to my boyfriend when he moved in.

For Windows I like 0irc. It's extremely lightweight and portable. For a browser alternative, KiwilIRC works in a pinch.

This isnt a uniquely female experience. Men commonly refer to their friends as "dog". Also, in the gay community, men's body types are equated to animals such as "bear," "otter," and "cub".

Hmm. Maybe I should just toss Ubuntu onto it and use a Bluetooth mouse instead of a controller.

I tried libreelec over the weekend but Plex and Netflix both failed to launch. I Googled the error and people advised to manually downgrade the add on versions, and it looked like a troublesome process. Maybe I was doing something wrong?

I have a raspberry Pi 4B that is connected to a CRT TV via Composite and controlled with a PS4 controller. I'd like to use the Pi for Netflix, Plex client, and playing DVDs from an ext drive. What distro would be best for this?

I tossed Retro Pi onto it and the controls work great but I can't figure out how to install the media apps.

I'm taking a long biking trip soon and want to share my live location with my boyfriend in case something happens. Any recommendations for privacy-focused apps that can accomplish this? I'm on Android, he's on iOS.

I’ve started at a medium-sized org (~1500 users) that has over a dozen global admins in 365, plus another 80 users with various 365 admin access. Does anyone have any tips for how to identify what access the users actually need?

I tried punching up a questionnaire with all of the available options, but my test group reported that it was too convoluted. I’m not sure how I can better identify their needs without interviewing them one-on-one, or just ripping away access and seeing who screams.
