Oh even better is connecting to a printer and that printer downloading and installing a Windows Store app. That cancerous HP Print app is the one that always comes to mind I see on family members’ computers.

There’s a Hell’s Angels chapter up the street from my house. Very likely because there is also a world famous road in the city that motorcyclists love to ride.

I’m a motorcyclist as well, but I ride a sports bike and I’m not with any club. But as a rider on the streets, I see a lot of other motorcyclists and they are all generally very friendly to me when we pass each other. We do the typical waves and nods and also the alerting if one of us noticed cops in the direction of the other biker (pat your helmet to signal this to the biker on the opposing lane if you have a cop behind you or if one has a trap behind you or something similar).

I’ve heard of beefs between the motorcycles that Hell’s Angels types ride (those Harley-like bikes) and sports bikes like mine, but I’ve never had any problems, myself.

But I keep to myself and I don’t particularly like groups, so that may also have something to do with it.

When driving my car, I see motorcyclists a lot as well and never had issues there either.

As others said, you keep your distance and you’re generally okay. It’s when you get in their business or make them mad that you bring trouble directly on yourself. Though, I do agree with someone else’s sentiment that a lot of their illegal dealings do have impacts on the community, at large, so this isn’t always a sure fire way of protecting yourself. But this is what you can do, at most, to ensure you’re out of harms way. Generally they don’t want to bring attention to themselves, as making life harder for people in the area will make the cops eye their chapter more closely and that’s not good for their business.

Oh boy, all my internet traffic can be forwarded through Google’s servers? Where do I sign up for this?!

This is so awesome! The things people put their minds to and use with the Raspberry Pi is incredible.

Even if those options were enabled for you on the user level and you deleted your history, believe that they still can see it. The firewall, alone, tracks traffic like this and stores it as logs and then there’s all sorts of third party software that companies use exclusively for monitoring. Web history is your least of concerns with what some of those can track.

Oof, I had an awful experience with them as well. Well, the “credit division”, because you know companies like this just have to split the customer service between the normal PayPal and the credit PayPal.

It had to be the most frustrating conversation I’ve ever had, and it was in writing. Like someone not hearing you but in written form. I don’t know how that was possible, but they made it possible.

It was all because my phone number had changed and I couldn’t verify myself, even to change my number. The idiot on the other end kept telling me to log in. I’m like “yeah, I can’t log in to change my phone number because it’s asking me to verify with my old number.” The stupid thing is that I do have access to my old phone, as a Google Voice number, but companies like PayPal sometimes refuse to send a verification to it because they see it as a VOIP line…

I never got it settled. I just wanted to make a payment and I think I got around it by sending money to my PayPal and then transferring there, because that was still possible.

One thing I know is that I will never ever use PayPal credit ever again in my fucking life. They were about to report me for late payment even though it was 100% their fault I wouldn’t have been able to pay.

I used to work with adults who had seizures and it was terrifying to watch but we did what we had to do for them. But I was always curious what it was like for the person experiencing the seizure. Like, what exactly do you remember? If you don’t mind going into detail, if not, I’m sorry I asked.

Do you remember falling to the ground and then your consciousness jumps to waking up and there’s nothing between?

Funny you ask because my cat was screaming his lungs off this morning and barged my door wide open, wider than usual. Screaming at the edge of my bed until I picked him up and gave him some extra attention.

Think he was upset I had woken up and didn’t call out to him, even though his badass never comes!

So I imagine he would have said “hey what the fuck? Why didn’t you let me know when you woke up, asshole? I’ve been wandering the house all night and waiting for you.”

I think another is George Clooney and South Park. Even in its very early days, they were able to get Clooney on to voice a dog for the sole fact that Clooney was a fan of the show.

Hell no! I do not ever preorder anything.

This is me all day, every day.

I’m worried about preordering it and still going in with low expectations. I can’t believe everything Todd has been saying these last few years.
