Exactly right, they are all extremely complex mechanically and electronically. Engine and transmission technology have come a long way, and I guess the absurd complexity is the trade-off we got for the improvements

I don't think we asked about you, did we? Anyway, I hope you find some relief from those problems.

I have actually done this too, I have pics of the darted roach somewhere. I think it took me 3 shots to get one to hit it.

The roach does not die from the dart, it's just going to keep moving until you pull it down and squash it or something. I wouldn't recommend it unless you just want to get some live target practice and need to kill a roach.

So are you people in this meme just on your phone all day looking at stupid phone apps? God, what a waste of life.

Smartphones are just boring little tools guys. Don't make it your life. Be a real nerd, get a PC, and surf the web where there are no limitations set by apps. Play some video games, look at porn sites, do some online shopping or whatever. If you're done with all that, go outside and ride a bike or something.

So what? Lots of better jobs are out there. And maybe they're not, because Dell still has to stay in business, by having employees.

Sounds like a bad idea unless the power input can handle 2 different voltages into the same place (at once?).

If it can handle both at once, you could still damage the car by feeding 24v into a 12v output port. It might blow a fuse, or burn up a circuit, or do nothing.

But it might be possible to install a diode or diodes in the line to prevent power flowing back into the car. Diodes are like one-way gates for electricity, but it would need to be the right kind and rated for the volts/amps going through it

Same here, and I've tested it with a blue laser and the lenses block the blue laser almost completely. It's definitely a benefit to have the blue / UV filter coating on glasses. Another easy test is to walk outside in the bright June sunlight and look around with and without the glasses. The UV filtering reduces eye strain outdoors in the bright sun too, but obviously not as well as sunglasses.

It was not a Bass Pro Shop then. It was The Pyramid, concert venue / arena.

I saw Jimmy Page and Robert Plant play there in the late 90's. It was totally awesome, they played almost 3 hours of Led Zeppelin and Page/Plant songs. John Bonham's son Jason was on drums.

That sounds like some big news. I've heard in the past rumors and such that the USA leaders have mostly kept "warm" relations with the Saudis in the effort to keep them using the Petrodollar as their standard.

I've never had a Twitter account and never felt the need for one, also haven't been missing out on that junk. I've read lots of tweets, on occasions when I was offered a twitter link for whatever, but just never felt like I needed to join up at all. Just seems like a waste of time to get on social media where all the posts are just small bits of opinionated content without much depth.
