I see ... Now on to the second question, I asked that for a reason: I am guessing the UN is probably (one of) the best-funded organizations, but it gets money from pretty much all governments, not just a single one.

"highest" in what sense? Also, funded by a single government only?
Oh yes, I always wanted to go to California!
Tölpel is originally a species of bird, but you're right, klutz is pretty close in meaning. Origin-wise it's pretty different though: klutz (Yiddish) & Klotz (German) are related, which means klutz is more like a stopping block made of wood/metal.
Huh. Google Translate gives me the translation I'd expected:

I feel like I've avoided subscriptions for the most part, except for basics like rent, energy, telephony, a travel card. The software I use is mostly open-source (some of which I voluntary support on a monthly basis). I don't need paid streaming because public TV streaming is good enough for shows/movies and YouTube with ad-block is good enough for music. I don't game.

Elmau Gotham, ya Balzac!
It's the entire UI of Steam. Same with Discord. Basically, the UI is made with the same tech that websites are made with and Electron is like Chrome displays the UI just like a website.
I mostly agree with the comment, however, mammals are sentient. Our current laws are massively influenced by us not really understanding them and by ideas such as non-humans essentially being "living machines", created as servants to humanity.
