Sent an email to my local representative looking to improve things locally. No response, but I was signed up for several newsletters and campaign donation lists after that. Nearly as upsetting as the endless torrent of advertisements from the vet that put down my dog. No, I’m not in the market for heart worm medication anymore. Fuck that vet, and fuck my local rep.

Who are you?

I’m you, but Ryker.

It’s literally a safe space, you absolute sea lion.

Only if you don’t think about it are they not mutually exclusive ideas. Safe space first, increase size of safe space second.

It’s a safe space and the fediverse rapidly expanded tenfold. Beehaw has stated outright that they want to refederate with the big instances, but are delaying until mod tools improve enough to allow them to maintain their safe space for their gaggle of vulnerable folks in the wake of the severely increased workload.

I’ve been suggesting universal defederation from the tanky instances for a few months. They’re all terrible in unique but related ways.

Then go the AdNauseum route. Give them such vast sums of information to sift through that it’s nearly useless to pick through any specific piece. Hotstrings would make the task much more painless, and save you dozens of hours per year once you get used to using them in other capacities.

Hoc cognito, ergo dico hoc. Compartmentalize information that you can; create a new email specifically for school, tape over camera when possible, avoid connecting to your other devices, disconnect the battery when possible. Use other devices for sensitive information.

What a waste. To think we could have had a new war of the roses if the New Lancastrians hadn’t ducked out.

The average billionaire lifestyle of extravagance creates about as much pollution as a business of reasonable size. Their year exceeds a hundred average lifetime carbon footprints. Thousands of lifetimes if you include construction’s environmental impact.
