Lentils and chickpeas have more per-gram protein than chicken and mutton!?

Why do I see thousands of health/bodybuilding influencers saying exactly the opposite and pushing meat consumption instead of legumes on a daily basis then?

culturally they either serve others or expect to be served

As an Indian it's amazing how you perfectly hit the nail on the head considering how limited your exposure has been. Most Indians themselves never realize this tendency of theirs throughout their lives.

Most people don't usually torrent on mobile data, and if they do it's understandable that they can't be expected to give back. It's fine, maybe in the future when you get broadband you can start seeding back.

Not a single solid reason given in this unhinged rent except a mention of that affiliate link fiasco, which even they themselves agree was a major fuckup.

All BAT and crypto stuff are completely opt-in and it barely takes a few clicks to set the browser to never let you see that side of it again. As for Brendan's political affiliations, most users couldn't care less. He might as well be a ~~furry~~ flat-earther but if the product is good, it is good. Stop acting like you're sure all the things you use throughout the day aren't made by people with doubtful leanings.

I personally don't use Brave on desktop, Firefox is good enough; but it is the best option on Android currently since Bromite is almost always a Chromium version behind whatever is current.

Edit: Just learnt that I was wrong in my perception of what "furry" meant. Reading the replies objecting to that reference made me dig a bit deeper and realise that it's just a type of fandom, and not some sex-deviant cult that pop media made me believe. Sorry for the wrong example.

They obviously didn't make that headline to be reposted on Lemmy. It's for Reddit, Twitter, Google etc.

I mean, literally replacing your device's firmware sounds like a step above rooting, even if it's arguably easier to do.

It's a shame but it's also true none of the options are a real alternative to Twitter. Twitter's main strength comes from the number of creators it has and the discoverability of content for general users. None have succeeded in breaking it.

I don't think it's the best but in such cases, I personally take the minimalist approach.

Keep all communications on official channels, and only send precise and to-the-point messages with as much brevity as possible (of course, make sure that your points are clear and that you are responding to their main queries as well). Make it as if they're talking to an intelligent robot.

Aren't there over a hundred OEMs shipping models with their own Android builds? Google will have to convince every single phone manufacturer to lock down their devices the way it wants, which doesn't seem very easy.
