What did you do to your phone's battery? I've got my phone for two and a half years and I still get decent runtime out of it.
And I agree... if the only innovations these days involve adding new cameras and removing other common features (like headphone jacks...) I don't really see the point in upgrading.
That got me thinking: couldn't that be solved by adding a layer in fron akin to a phosphor screen which "buffers" the light a bit thus bridging the switching which should reduce flickering?
With that title I was honestly expecting something more linux-specific, but the concepts described here pretty much apply to all modern OSs and their file handling.

There are studies showing something is causing cancer for almost everything you eat. Wasn't there even a study that showed increased cancer risk if you eat potato chips? Or eggs?
It already is. The average citizen just doesn't give a crap about privacy.
