They prefer cash to avoid the IRS, it’s so THEY can do the fraud.
Legit businesses don’t need to worry about being scammed since any chargebacks get investigated. A receipt, a picture of the tattoo and a signed waiver, zero chance of the fraud working out in the scammers favour.
Cash jobs are jobs no one can prove happen, it’s only done to avoid IRS/CRA. Legit businesses need proof of work done, it also builds their portfolio and is advertising.
The only “culture” of cash payments is shady business since the only reason it’s done is to avoid proof that you made money.
Now the fact that lots of criminals also have tattoos has a lot to do about it as well… but no one wants to have that conversation either.
Cash only is never legitimate, sorry.
Get cash and no evidence of work to skip the IRS/CRA get hit elsewhere, that’s the risk you take.
Legit shops won’t get scammed since it’s cut and dry work was done.
Tattoo artists take pictures of their work no? Investigation asks the vendor for proof too, they send the picture of their receipt, ink job and waiver….
And you would than need to prove what fraud happened.
Chargebacks aren’t these magical things, they get investigated.
Why wouldn’t they take credit card?

I get it. It’s different for other people, some people love farming headshots for that new gun/skin, some don’t mind min/maxing their rpg char. Whatever floats their boat.
Think of it like pushing RNG in your favor. Most games incorporate RNG in some amount, I do understand that micromanaging becomes too much at some point as well though.
You equipped 1 you want, and when it’s depleted another of the same type is auto equipped. You can manually use them, but the equipped ones would auto use whenever you used your inhaler.
No different than buffing your party before a fight in any other game really when it comes down to it.
Sucks having your connection drop and having to redlownload the entire thing again. Managers are a fix.
