It’s not so much the motivation, but the just doing it. Shia has a great video on the subject:
Sure. At the current rate. But it’s likely that if you use cash more often then your pickle jar fills up sooner.
So much! Keyboard scrubbing was better. I never accidentally opened my camera from the lock screen when taking my phone out of my pocket. I could literally interact with different screen elements in different ways, with a great tactile response, but using 3D Touch.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who found it much different, and better, than Force Touch or whatnot.
Apple’s 3D Touch. It was predictable, reliable, and, apparently, under-utilized by the world around me.
Alternatively, if they are happy with their pro-grums, familiar with the interface, and not getting gouged worse than the next cable subscriber — consider letting it rest.
From things like being able to punch in a channel number to having the cable company to call for issues, folks in that generation might really prefer paying.
I’m basing this on my years of experience with a now 60-something and now 80-something. YMMV
