My son (4 months old) refused to sleep and was crying/screaming for like an hour
Very frustrating, and I cried a mixture of sympathy tears and frustration tears
The last time I cried not from my son was like 15 years ago

Got one of those in Tallahassee. Can confirm about the many jokes.
I strongly disagree and my job is researching Alzheimer's and age-related cognitive decline
Age-related decline is minor and Alzheimer's is rare. Neither should play a role in forced retirement
Professor of cognitive neurology here
There is research into using gaze behavior (eye movements during targeted cognitive assessments) to develop an objective test of attention symptoms, but otherwise no. The screeners (questionnaires) are all very subjective, and a true diagnosis requires an extensive interview which is also subjective as it requires accurate recognition of one's past behavior. Which is difficult, because the things you don't pay attention to often don't get remembered.
My main focus is on using gaze and speech behavior to diagnose Alzheimers disease and other dementias, but I am planning to expand my research to ADHD in the next few years.
I also have ADHD, and I'm motivated because my kids will probably have it as well.
This is a trend that will ultimately lead to safer driving, though. Right now the driver assistance programs aren't uniformly good, but given enough time (or hopefully legislation of new safety standards) these systems will become more and more effective.
It isn't difficult to design a system that effectively keeps your car between the lane, going the speed limit, a safe distance from the car in front of it, and automatically brake or evade if it detects a hazard ahead. We're almost there, we just need better testing, more sensors (in contrast to Elon Musk's profit-motivated push to do otherwise), and ideally more collaboration between the auto manufacturers and the tech industry.
The problem isn't that they don't review the procedure
The problem is that they can't review the procedure
Why do you care about this so much that you would lie and make shit up?
The article doesn't state that there were multiple warnings, and she didn't break the dress code which is about religious dress not kimonos.
Technically his name is Yahweh but he gets mad if you call him that so people use the term God as a sign of respect
... what?
This sounds like the pitch of a tech bro who just heard someone use the term API but doesn't actually know what it is
Maybe I didn't explain it properly. I did hate the BOTW system but really enjoy the new one. You still feel like you need to switch your tactics up regularly but you don't need to go hunting for good weapons anymore.
It's tough but rewarding. I know it's cliche, but I really wouldn't trade being a dad for anything
